Ongoing Maintenance & Support
Continuous technical care for systems your business depends on.
Software is not finished when it goes live. Dependencies need updates, data grows, requirements shift, and small issues appear that deserve fixing before they become large ones. In a maintenance engagement we act as the ongoing technical caretaker of your systems.
What maintenance includes
Keeping dependencies and platforms up to date, monitoring for errors and degradation, fixing issues as they appear, and implementing the steady stream of small improvements that keep a system aligned with the business.
Predictable involvement
We agree with you on the form of the engagement, a regular time budget, defined response expectations, or support on demand, so the cost is predictable and you know what to expect when something breaks.
Prevention over firefighting
Good maintenance is mostly invisible: backups that are tested, updates applied before they become urgent, and warning signs acted upon early. The goal is fewer emergencies, not heroic recoveries.
Systems we did not build
Maintenance does not require that we wrote the software. We take over existing systems after a technical assessment, which tells both sides what condition the system is in and what care it needs.
Signs a system needs ongoing care
- Updates are postponed because nobody is sure what they might break.
- Errors are discovered outside the company before anyone inside it notices.
- Backups exist in theory but have never been tested.
- Small known issues accumulate because there is no one responsible for fixing them.
- The business depends on the system but nobody is formally responsible for it.
