Technical work fails as often at communication as at code. Our engagements are built on direct collaboration: you talk to the people doing the work, technical matters are translated into business terms, and decisions are made with a clear picture of their consequences.
Plain language reporting
You should never need a translator to understand the state of your own project. We report progress, problems, and options in terms of business impact, what it means, what it costs, what the alternatives are.
Working with your people
Where internal technical staff exist, we work with them, not around them, sharing knowledge, reviewing each other's work, and leaving them more capable than before. Where external providers are involved, we coordinate factually and professionally.
Decisions stay with you
We give clear recommendations and we argue for them, but decisions about your business belong to you. Our job is to make sure you decide with accurate information, including the option we would not choose.
Disagreement in the open
If we think a requested approach is a mistake, we say so before building it, once, clearly, with reasons. If you decide differently, we implement your decision properly. What we do not do is comply silently and let a problem surface later.
